Kenneth was born on a farm near Saskatoon, (Sec. 28, Tp.37, Rge.5, W 3). He grew up in Saskatoon. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW2. Ken worked at various jobs as a salesman until he founded his own business, K. Kimberley Limited, in Winnipeg which provided commercial window coverings for buildings and theatres. Ken and his wife, Mabel Peters, were life-time members of the Salvation Army. Ken and Mabel retired to Abbotsford, British Columbia, where they owned a condominium. Ken & Mabel had three children: Pamela, Beverley and Ken Jr.
