Ruby Mae Chester, 88, of Cedar Hill died July 18, 2005, at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
Graveside services will be held (today) Wednesday, July 20 at 10 a.m. from the Heads Church Cemetery, with Charles William Fentress officiating.
Mrs. Chester was born March 14, 1917, in Robertson County to the late Charles Marion and Sally Ann Ellis Maxey.
She worked as an inspector for B.F. Goodrich before her retirement and was a member of Head's Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Edgar Gerald Chester; five brothers; two sisters.
She is survived by nephews, Joe (Teresa) Maxey of Cedar Hill and Don (Diane) Chester of Woodlawn; nieces, Juanita (Charles) Maxey Fentress of Nashville, Kathlene (John) Maxey Emch of Kingston, and Carole (Van) Julian of North Carolina.
Pallbearers are Blake Maxey, Kyle Maxey, Joe Maxey, Matthew Carpenter, Tim Chester, Don Chester.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
