Scott Allen Baker, age 42, of Harrisburg, passed away at 4:57 AM, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Scott was born on August 21, 1970, in Fort Lauderdale, FL to the late Richard Baker Jr. and Beverly Jean (Markstahler) Baker. On August 20, 1991, he married Letha Goolsby and she survives. Scott was an evangelist. H
e was a member of the AWCF.

Surviving family members include his wife: Letha Baker of Harrisburg; daughter: Brittney Rose Baker; daughter: Makayla Jo Baker; son: Zack Tyler Baker; son: James William Baker; daughter: Kelly Nichole Baker; son: Brandon Lee Baker all of Harrisburg; nephew: Dale Baker; brother: Dale Baker Sr.; sister: Linda Baker of Harrisburg; half sister: Stephanie of St. Joseph, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Bro. Ron Walls will officiate. Burial will follow in Butler Cemetery south of Harrisburg. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 2PM, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Reed Funeral Chapel. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to offset funeral expenses and made payable to Reed Funeral Chapel. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
