Daniel Clifford Asbell
MOULTRIE — Daniel Clifford Asbell, 77, of Moultrie, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at Pineview Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Norman and the Rev. Lennon Howell officiating.
Interment will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Christopher Birchfield, Michael Birchfield, Tyler Walters, Michael Burdett, Scotty Tucker, Jerry Courtney, Tim Hathcock and Dale Hathcock.
The Men of Pineview Baptist Church will serve as honorary casketbearers.
Born July 23, 1935, he was the son of the late Aubrey Arnie Asbell and Martha Grimes Asbell.
He served in the United States Army and retired as plant operations supervisor with Bridgeport Brass.
"He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was dedicated to his church, and his life was a living testimony," his family remembered of him.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Arnie Asbell.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today, Oct. 12, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
