Rev. George Turner of Faulkton, conducted the service, and interment was made in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Alice Florella Crane was born October 27, 1862, in Fayette County, Iowa. One of the early settlers who braved the dangers and hardships of pioneer days, she was married in 1887 to Frank Stone who was a victim of the Blizzard of 1888. She married again in 1889 to James P. Beckner, who died in 1894.
