Wayne Theodore Allen,90 went live with his Lord & Savior on Oct 10 2012 at Summit Villa,Holt Summit,Mo.
He was born Son of Theodore A & myrtle Allen on Feb 26 1921 near White City Morris,Co,Kansas. In the depression he worked on the family farm & eventually went on to graduate from White City High School. During World War II he oversaw the production of B-24 bomer planes in addition to playing one season for the San Diego Paders.
On June 1 1946 he married the love of his life ,Margery Louis John.She preceded him in death. Wayne worked for a short time for Western Auto before settling into a career as a tire saleman for Goodyear Tire & rubber. He retired
ater 33 years of employment,then contined sell tires for Anderson TBA in Chillicothe,Mo;and Ewers Tires in Jefferson City,Mo.
He was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Chillicothe where he was involed in Sunday School & MYF, Chillicothe Rotart,Boy Scouts of America,the Tribe of Mic-O Say, Promenade Square Dance Club,& the Lake Mykee Board. He was present member of Union Hill Baptist Church where he continued hid in volvement in Sunday School & assisted with Vacation Bible School. Wayne lived life to the fullist.He never met a stranger that he didn't know & was always asking kids for high fives.
Survivors include his childern,Sharon & Dave Case,Norborne,Mo;Bob & Marsha Allen,Jan & Dan Elliott;grandchildern,Michelle & Shannon Hall Mike & Jenni Case,Scott Elliott,Brent Elliott;great-grand childern,Grad,Hannah,Harrison Cassidy,Baron,& Holly;brothers Dean & Cora May Allen,Vernon & Lillian Allen, Gene & lans Allen, sister Evelyn & Jack Prichard.
