Dies in Her Home
After Long Illness
Mrs. Belle J. Corwin of 159 W.
Washington St. died at 7:10 a.m.
yesterday in her home after an
illness of a year. She was 83.
A native of Sartwell, Mrs. Corwin
was born Jan. 29, 1873, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip
Cooney. She moved to Bradford
about 60 years ago, but lived in
Buffalo between 1938 and last year.
She was a member of St. Bernard
Church of Bradford, and the Rosary
Confraternity of Buffalo.
Survivors are four daughters,
Mrs. Marie McAdams, Mrs. Jack
Willoughby, Mrs. William Ferris
and Mrs. Harry Fox of Bradford;
a son, Wilson, of Buffalo; seven
grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
A prayer service at 8:30 a.m.
Thursday in the HoUenbeck Funeral
Chapel will be followed at 9
o'clock by Requiem Mass in St.
Bernard Church. Burial will be in
Oak Hill Cemetery.
