MISS ELLEN LENAHAN
This esteemed lady passed to her eternal reward at St. Joseph's hospital in Dodgeville, Saturday, August 11th, aged 86 years. The remains were conveyed to this city and rested at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Thomas until Monday morning, when the funeral took place with services at St. Paul's church, Rev. L.P. O'Reilly officiating.
Miss Lenahan was born in Latrim County Ireland, and came to Mineral Point in 1846, where her earlier days were spent. With the exception of ten years spent in California, she made Platteville her home. She returned to Mineral Point four years ago.
