Emma was born in Joseph, Union county, Oregon to John Rollins and Mary Warren.
She had six siblings: brother Max born Mar 1885 in IL, sisters Amanda born Mar 1886 in IL , Anna, Martha, Pearly and Goldie (Mary)all born in Union County Oregon.

02 May 1912 in Union County Oregon Emma married Ira Ned Kesler from Council Valley Idaho, son of Lewis and Lena Kesler.
Ira and Emma had three children, Mildred Irene in 1915, Frank Earl in 1917 and Iona Frances in 1918 all were born in La Grande, Union County, Oregon.
