Mrs. Anna H. Gibson, 93. of 42
South Ave., formerly of 112 Clarence
St., died Wednesday morning in
St Francis Hospital, Olean. N.Y.
She was born July 15. 1883, in
Smethport the daughter of the
late John and Hannah Keesler
Haley. She attended Smethport
schools, and moved to Bradford
in 1909 with her family.
On May 23. 1925. in Bradford,
she married Nicholas M. Gibson,
who died in 1955.
She was a seamstress in the
Bradford area for many years,
last working for Fannin's Bridal
Shop, retiring in 1967.
She was a member of the Hill
Memorial United Methodist
Church, and an honorary life
member of Queen Esther
Rebekah Lodge 118. and past
president of all branches of the
Rebekahs.
She was a member of the
women of the Moose and the
Friendship Club of the Moose.
She is survived by a step-son
Martin Gibson, of Butler; two
nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Moser of
Allegany. N. Y. and Mrs. Edna
Turner of Jamestown. N.Y. and
five nephews: Gerald Beyler of
Bradford Evan Beyler of Niles,
Ohio and Jack and Robert Healy
and Thomas Haley, all of California.
Friends may call after 3 p.m.
Thursday at the Cahill Funeral
Home, where funeral services
will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
with the Rev. James Ritchie,
pastor of the Hill Memorial
United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill
Cemeterv.
