Kathleen Roberts Goodrich, 90, died Thursday 11 Oct 2012, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franlin and Mattie Roberts, born in Frankfort, KY on 21 Oct 1921.

Kathleen was preceeded in death by a sister Dorcas Carter and brother Kenneth Roberts.

Kathleen was employed by the National Distillers for 35 yrs. A member of the Millville Christian Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and held many church offices. An original commissioner of the North Woodford Water District, donating many years of service to the community bringing water to the farming community of north Woodford County.

I grew up in the same home with my Granny, I believe I was lucky! She was the most energetic, busy Granny I have ever known. We were close. Despite her decreasing vision as she aged she always tried as hard as she could to maintain her independence. She was, and is, my special Angel.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
