Barbara E. Joy, daughter of G. Raymond and Marion Joy, was the owner of The Joy Camps in Hazlehurst, Wisconsin. Barbara was educated at Simmons College, Boston and received her master's degree in education from Columbia University, New York City. Ms. Joy was twice elected President of the American Camping Association. She retired to Bar Harbor, the town where she was raised.
