Wilma R. Griffin, 84, 146 Water Street, died June 27, 2007, at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. She was born June 27, 1923, at Cox's Mills, the daughter of the late Manford and Eunice Maxson Bode.
Her husband, James W Griffin, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, David L. Griffin, Morgan City, LA, and Gary J. Griffin and wife Ann Kay of Riverview, Michigan; two brothers, Berlin Bode, Clarksburg, and Raymond Bode of Greensboro, NC; two sisters, Pauline Cottrill, Salem, and Rowena Kelly of Stone Mountain, GA. Also surviving are six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, John J. Griffin, who died in 1978, and by a brother, Kenneth Bode.
Mrs. Griffin was a long faithful member and deacon of the Salem Baptist Church and was a former employee of the Business Office of Salem College.

Interment in the K. of P. Cemetery.
