Mr. Ligon died in a Houston hospital.
Survivors include: wife, Christine; sons, Charles, serving in the U.S. Navy, Lloyd, Andrew, Earnest and Darrell; daughters, Edna and Vera; step-son, Cranston Hart; brothers, James, Jack and Benard; sisters, Mrs. La Wanda Allen and Mrs. Addie B. Davis; 9 grandchildren.
