Virginia Leighnae (Gena) Dellis of Arlington, Texas died Monday, June 7, 1999 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was 21 years of age. Miss Dellis was born March 13, 1978 at Arlington, Texas, the daughter of Joe and Tempest (Ables) Dellis.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was a bank teller.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Dellis, her maternal gradparents, Buster and Fritz Ables, and her paternal grandfather, Roy Dellis.
Survivors are her mother, Tempest Dellis of Arlington; one sister and her husband, Jo Lynn and Brian Crouse of Arlington; one niece, Sarah
Elizabeth Crouse of Arlington; and her grandmother, Jessi Dellis of Goldthaite.
The funeral was Friday, June 11, 1999 at 10:00
a.m. at the South Arlington Church of Christ.
Interment was at 4:00 p.m. at the North Brown
Cemetery in Mills County, Texas. Officiating at the rites were Minister Brad Graves and Minister Terry Jackson.
Pallbearers were Code Ables, Quincy Ables, Mike
Smith, Taylor Goerdel, Robert Glen Phillips and
Ace Price.
