Mrs. Jennie Austin Johnson, age 85, of Elmira, N.Y. formerly of Mansfield, died Friday August 21, 1970. Funeral services were held Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. in the Shaw and Robena Funeral Home, Mansfield. The Rev. Glenn Dewey officiated. Burial was in State Road Cemetery. She was the widow of John J. Johnson. She is survived by step-daughters Mrs. Burdett Wallace, Painted Post, Mrs. Ruth Austin Bolt, Covington, step sons, Arnold Johnson, Painted Post, Roy Austin, Pottsdam, N.Y.; one niece, Margare Blanchard; two nephews, Robert and Wesley Reynolds, all of Meadville, Pa.; several cousins. Mrs. Johnson was a former operator of the old Citizens Phone Co., in Mansfield and a former member of the Bakerburg Church.
