LAKE CITY " Mr. Travis Wheeler Daniel, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, in the Lake City Community Hospital after an illness.
Born in Granville County, N.C., Mr. Daniel was a son of the late Frank Royster and Huldah Wheeler Daniel. He was a farmer and a Baptist. Mr. Daniel was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Vickers Daniel of Lake City; two sisters, both of Lake City; and a close sister-in-law of Durham, N.C.
Graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 4, in the Lake City Cemetery
