Mary Jean Graves 77 of Moscow Mills, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2008 in St Louis County, a daughter of Walter and Estelle Brady Markwardt. She was married in St Louis County of George Graves on May 17, 1947. George preceded her in death on April 7, 1989.

Mary graduated from Pike Lincoln Technical School and was a Nurse's Aid at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

She is survived by five children, Pamela Johnston of Troy, Linda Eppard of Moscow Mills, Nancy Vitale and husband John of Flint Hill, Forrest Graves of Moscow Mills, and Patty Griffin and husband Dale of Troy, one sister, Edna Ramsay and husband George of Strafford. nine grandchildren, Chris Eppard an partner Kim Pioch of St Louis, Joey Craig Johnston Jr of Troy, John Wayne Vitale of Flint Hill, Matthew Johnston of Chesterfield, Mark Johnston and fiance Amy Stoker of Troy, James Vitale of Flint Hill, carol Griffin Dennis and husband Jesse of Troy, Georgia Graves of Clarksville and Jill Graves of Moscow Mills and five great grandchildren, Kira Baumann, Chloee Johnston, Milo Eppard, Caden Johnston, and Urijah Dennis. She was preceded in death by one son, Harold Graves in 1950.

Friends will be received from 4-8p.m. Thursday August 4, 2008 at Kemper Marsh Funeral Home/ Troy Chapel. Interment will follow in Troy City Cemetery.
