Theodore H. Hoffman, aged eighty years, two months and twenty-four days, a well-known resident of Winfield and the oldest member of the Washington camp, No. 15 P.O.S. of A., if not the oldest member in the State, took place at Ebenezer Cemetery on Sunday last, under the auspices of the camp, of which Mr. Hoffman was a charter member. Mr. Hoffman was a very prominent of Camp 15, and nearly one hundred of its membership turned out to pay the last tribute of respect to the deceased. The funeral was one of the largest ever witnessed at Ebenezer Church. The Rev. Snader of the Brethren church and the Rev. George Cecil of the Methodist church, officiating. He was a loving husband and father and had the respect of the community in which he spent his long life.
