His military service was in the National Guard in Litchfield and Hutchinson between 1957 through 1965.
Loren worked as a mechanic for Johnson Motors and later Main Motors eventually opening and running his own shop from 1980 through 1988 in Dassel. Later, he operated his own home construction company in the Silver Lake, Dassel and Hutchinson areas.
Loren is survived by his wife, sons Scott and Bruce, three grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; sister Myrna (Richard) Byers; brother-in-law Duane Lhotka, sister-in-law Deborah Murphy, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Bryan, special doggy Abby, parents, and parents-in-law.
