Funeral services for Essie M. Oliver of Greenville well be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Judea Baptist Church in Jefferson with Rev. Jesse Florance officiating. Burial will be in Judea Cemetery.
Mrs. Oliver died Sunday at Citizens General Hospital at the age of 86.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1904, I Jefferson to Lewis and Clara McDonald. She married Roosevelt Webb in 1921. After his death, she married Roy Oliver in 1946. She was a member of Judea Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lester Webb of California and Thomas Oliver of Dallas; one daughter, Dorothy Andrews of Greenville; one brother, Ennis McDonald of Jefferson; a sister, Gracie Evans of Jefferson; 37 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, three sons and a daughter.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers and Grundy Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
