Mr. Carl Wayne Helms, age 61, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Wake Forest Burn Center in Winston Salem, NC. He was born March 16, 1951 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Ned Helms and Eula Watts Helms and was the husband of Jean Starnes Helms. Mr. Helms was a retired carpenter and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Helms is survived by his wife, Jean S. Helms of the home, and a brother, James Helms and his wife Sue of Pageland.
Mr. Helms was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Randle Helms and Larry Helms.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Helms will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 19, 2012 at Oak Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Cliff Henson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
