Services for Lydia A. Hayden, 75, Alsea, will be at the Chapel of the McHenry Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will follow at the Alsea Cemetery.
Mrs. Hayden died Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital.
The daughter of Marion and Lillian Bailey, she was born Oct. 23, 1901 in North Albany. She went to school in North Albany and Cloverdale, marrying Herschel L. Hayden on Oct. 23, 1921 at Alsea. Mr. Hayden died in June 1974.
She was a member of the Baptist Church of Cloverdale, Past-Noble Grand of the Starlight Rebeccah Lodge and a memeber of the Alsea Garden Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Keith Dawson of Alsea and five grandchildren, three greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
