MICHAEL SILAS STILTNER 46 years of age of the Looney?s Creek section of Grundy, VA passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004 at his home. Born in Buchanan County, January 17, 1958 he was the son of the late Jacob Randolph Stiltner and Oria Cochran Stiltner. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Linda Thompson and Madeline Hurley; five brothers: Roy Stiltner, Silas Stiltner, Cecil Stiltner, Autie Stiltner and Rufus Stiltner.
He is survived by four sisters: Margaret Justice, Mary Justus and Ruby McClanahan all of Grundy, VA, Jessie Hurley of Rocky Gap, VA; seven brothers: Jude Stiltner of Pilgrim Knob, VA, Barney Stiltner, Paul Stiltner and Elmer Stiltner all of Grundy, VA, Ferrell Stiltner of San Francisco, CA, Otto Stiltner of Churchville, VA and Burl Stiltner of San Bruno, CA.
Funeral services for Michael Silas Stiltner will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, VA with Pastor Danny Hess officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Active Pallbearers will be Amos Looney, Charles Conner, Duane Looney, Chris Stacy, Timmy Stiltner, Bill Stiltner, Dallas Stiltner, Jeff Looney and Jerry Potter.
