He was survived by his wife, Lora Mae Perry; one son, John Sullivan Perry and wife Dena; one daughter, Glenda Sue Whitaker and husband Bobbie; one stepson, Dennis Cobb and wife Pam; one stepdaughter, Dianne Henegan and husband Robert; one brother, Buford Perry; three sisters, Octovene Head, Vennie Ferguson and Wanda Brooks; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
