EUGENE CLARENCE HAWKINS
Eugene Clarence Hawkins, 83, furniture dealer of Red Boiling Springs, died Saturday morning at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Alexander Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs by Pastor James Cox. Internment was in the Whitley Cemetery.
Mr. Hawkins was a native of Macon county the son of the late William B. and Louise B. Hawkins. He was married to the former Alta Lyons who survives. He was a member of the 7th. Day Adventist Church.
Two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Martin and Agnes Elizabeth Hawkins preceeded him in death.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Eugene C. Hawkins, Jr. and Collier Hawkins both of Red Boiling Springs, one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Brown of Napa, California and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Williams, McMinnville, 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
