Born in East Liverpool, December 15, 1949, he was a son of Gladys Mae Shields Means and the late Ira Morris Means, Jr., who passed away August 15, 2012.
A lifelong area resident and retired Union Carpenter, working throughout the Tri-State area, he was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Along with his parents, he attended the Campground Community Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters; as well as one son.
Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lou Taylor and Margie Jean Mosser, and one brother-in-law, Cpl. Charles Mosser.
The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will accord full military honors.
Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
