BOY DROWNED - While Skating on Stillwater near Ludlow Falls Sunday Afternoon.

Sunday afternoon, about 3 o'clock, a number of boys ranging from age 11 to 15 years, while skating on Stillwater, near Ludlow Falls, broke through the thin ice. Four of them were under the ice for some time, but three of them were rescued, while one was drowned.
The unforunate lad, was Frank Huffman, 14, of Ludlow Falls, whose body was not recovered for more than an hour and a half after the fatality occured. Efforts were made to resuscitate the boy, but proved unavailing, as life was extinct. The ice was only one and a half inches thick.
