Barry “J.T.” Rogers, known as Johnny Rahm in scores of adult movies, committed suicide in Atlanta, Georgia.

Barry, a native of Baldwin County, was a graduate of Gilead Christian Academy in Macon, Georgia and also attended Bob Jones University. Among his various activities, he worked with the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon.

Barry relocated to California in the late 1980s and worked for nearly a decade in the adult film industry. He was the winner of the 1993 Gay Video Guide’s Best Supporting Actor Award for his role as a mafia don in “Body Search,” directed by Chi Chi LaRue. He also won the 1995 Best Supporting Actor award for “All About Steve.”
