By 1920, Cora is married to M. Hillery Thigpen with a two year old son, James, "Junius". They live in Lee Township in Florence County. Hillery works as a section hand for the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad.
By 1930, the family has added another son, Hillery, nicknamed Pee-Wee, and a daughter, Vera, to their home in Brewington in Clarendon County, South Carolina.
Cora died on 2 January 1934 and was buried on 8 January in the Matthews Cemetery where her parents also lay.
Note: Many thanks to Barbara Lehman for posting a copy of the death certificate and by her actions reminding me I had left work undone. Barbara noted that Cora's grave is UNMARKED as is that of her husband, M. Hillery Thigpen.
