Sallie Rawls was the daughter of Mary Catherine Henry Herren and Hew Rawls, who disappeared around 1861, possibly having joined the Confederate Army.
She married W. W. Duncan Oct. 12 1877. Mr. Duncan died before 1880, when she was widowed and living with her parents J.H. Herren and M.C. Herren (census). She married Daniel Henry King on 28 Dec 1881 in Jefferson County, Arkansas. Daniel King, who worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, was killed in a railroad accident February 10, 1895.
