Born in Switzerland daughter of Michael Beseth and Catherine Moore and came to this country 70 years ago.
In 1871 married Melchior who died January 1922.
Two sons were born to them - Andrew, married and living on the homestead and Edward who died several years ago.
Leaves 4 sisters and 2 brothers - Mrs Yetta Bryan and Mrs Anna Bossley of Youngsville, Mrs Lena Rohrback of Liberty, Mrs Margaret Otto of Scranton, Henry Beseth of Liberty and Andrew, unknown.
Eleven grandchildren - Clifford Abplanalp of Livingston Manor, Cameron at home, Keatherine, Charles and Oscar Abplanalp of Youngsville, Florence Rose, Amy Robertson, Margaret Hubert and Agnes of Poughkeepsie; Louise Kirk and Howard Abplanalp of Liberty. There are also fifteen great grand children."
