Dorothy Lillian Aho, 77, of Cloquet died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, in Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital and Convalescent Nursing Care Section.
She was born Nov. 12, 1920, in Cloquet to Oscar and Ester (Tario) Pelto. Dorothy graduated from Cloquet High School. Dorothy and Carl Aho were married on Jan. 13, 1940, in Cloquet. She was a homemaker and mother of six.
Dorothy enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1990; and sons John in 1990 and Steven in 1946.
She is survived by sons, Gene (Linda) of Cloquet, Terrence (Carole) of Lexington, Minn., and Gordon (Shirley) of Cloquet; a daughter, Susan Nelson of Wrenshall; a sister, Irene Hickman of Chicago; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 4-6 p.m. Wednesday in Barr Brothers Funeral Home, Cloquet. Graveside service 2 p.m. Thursday in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet. Arrangements by Barr Brothers Funeral Home, 900 Washington Ave., Cloquet.
