She is survived by a daughter, a brother, James and sisters, Carmela and Malena, two nephews and one niece. She is also survived by a grandmother, Marion R. Conrad, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
During a visit to Italy, she received the blessing of Pope John Paul II with whom she felt a special connection.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 7th, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Alexandria, VA. Internment followed at St Mary's Cemetery, Alexandria, VA.
