Obituary - CHESTER DAVIS, 66, of 75 Thorne Street, Patchogue, died suddenly Sunday at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Born in Buxton, Me., he was a resident of Patchogue for more than 40 years. He had retired from the Sunshine Biscuit Company. He is survived by his wife, Eliza, and 10 children, Mrs. Barbara Skarre, Roger, Mrs. Joan Henschel, Curt, Mrs. Janet Russo, Mrs. Doris Barthelmess , William, Mrs. Bette Vallillo and Miss Sandra, all residing in Patchogue. Another daughter Mrs. Joyce McCabe resides in Florida. He is also survived by eight brothers, Carl, of Maine, Alton of Northport, Elmer of Maine, Preston of Patchogue, Harry of Maine; Paul and Everett of Maine and Kendrick of New Jersey, and 23 grandchildren. Funeral Services were held yesterday at the Ruland Funeral Home, The Rev. Henry G. Wyman, pastor of The Congregational Church of Patchogue, officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
