ODESSA-- Lloyd Alcorn, 96, a longtime resident of Odessa, died Sept. 19, 2000, at Medical Center Hospital. One of 13 children, he was born Feb. 16, 1904, in Imboden, Ark., to James and Florence Alcorn.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. AIcorn moved to West Texas from Arkansas in 1924 and to San Angelo in 1928. He married Elsie Martin July 9, 1930, in Ballinger. He went to work for Shell Oil Company in 1934 and moved to Ector County. He remained in Odessa after his retirement in 1969.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 11 brothers and one sister.
