NEW ALBANY - Troutman, C. Walter, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at his home. He was a native of Laconia, IN and retired from the Ford Motor Company K.T.P. Plant after 30 years of service. He was a Lifetime Member of the Floyd County Token Club and a member of Scottsville Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Barney and Linne Troutman, and 2 brothers: Cecil and James Troutman Sr. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Faith Troutman; his daughter, Michelle Troutman; two sons, Michael Troutman and Barry Troutman (Angie); and five grandchildren, Taylor Phelphs, Cory, Rhiannon, Addison and Olivia Troutman. A funeral service celebrating Walter's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, his birthday, at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, 1846 E. Oak St., with burial in Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be noon - 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to Scottsville Christian Church or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
