m Atkins, 65 of Stone Mountain, GA., formerly of Jonesville, LA., died October 2, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Linda Atkins, son and daughter in law, Van and Karen Atkins of Jonesville, LA; daughters and sons in law, Pamela and Randy Smith of Covington; Teresa and Chuck Parrish of Snellville; Melissa (Shane) Smith and Victoria and Brett Peeples, all of Stone Mountain; sisters and brothers in law, Margaret Atkins of Jena, LA; Lois and Don Woodward of Monroe, LA; Brenda and Mike Howell of London, KY; 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Atkins was the retired owner of Atkins Heating and Air for more than 45 years and a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church in Jonesville, LA. He was a graduate of Block High School Class of 1957 in Jonesville and was an avid LSU and Block High School football fan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Dave Carlton officiating. Interment will follow at Betha Barra Baptist Church Cemetery.
