Charles Wesley Blanch, 67, Michigantown rt. 1 died at 3:25 p.m. yesterday (June 11, 1982) at Tipton Memorial Hospital.

Former owner and operator of the Boyleston Grain Co. he lived most of his life in Clinton County. He belonged to the Boyleston Baptist Church, the Hillisburg Masonic Lodge, and the Michigantown Volunteer Fire Department, formerly serving as chief. A graduate of Michigantown High School, he attended Purdue's engineering school.

Born November 18, 1915, in Clinton County, he was the son of Nicolas and Orpha (Huffer) Blanch. On June 29, 1940, he married Mary Geneva Aitkins. She died March 23, 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Max Blanch of Argos and Don Edwin Blanch of Michigantown; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. tomorrow.
