Services for Mrs. R. A. [Rose] Scranton, 72, 1305 Vine St., will be held at 1 p.m. today in Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. T. Ayers, officiating.
Burial will be in Zephyr Cemetery.
Mrs. Scranton died Friday at 5:15 p.m. in a Brownwood rest home after a short illness. She was born in 1890.
A resident of Brownwood the last 20 years, Mrs. Scranton moved here from Goldthwaite. She was a member of the Baptist church and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Matson of Houston, Mrs. Willie Bell Quirl of Evan; and Mrs. Mattie Baker of Sanderson, and three brothers, Arthur Ware of Corpus Christi, Mike War of Mesquite and George ware of Comanche.
