While, making an approach to Hickham AFB, Hawaii at 0216 AM in the morning from the west. The aircraft impacted "PaliKea" mountain just outside US Naval Magazine, Naval Ammunition Depot (Oahu), Lualualei. No survivors were noted. His home of record was Selma, Alabama. He was survived by his Stepfather Mr Hosea & biological mother Elizabeth Garrison Elliott of Nichols, South Carolina. Also included is Mrs. Anna Claire Dawsey his wife of Selma, Alabama. Others are a son Joe Marion Dawsey: a sister Mrs Mildred Howie of Charlotte, N.C.: and a half sister , Miss Arlene Elliott of Marion. This site is dedicated to remembrance of this person.
