Mrs. Moseley Dies at Dallas

Mrs. Cora H. Moseley, widow of the late Dr. B. N. Moseley, died in a Dallas hospital early Friday.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday from Rains and Talley chapel. Dr. S. S. McKenney will conduct the services and burial will be in Jefferson.

Mrs. Moseley was the daughter of Col. R. L. Hightower and Martha Rogers Hightower and was born near Elysian Fields. She was a life-long resident of Harrison County until she left Marshall about a year ago to make her home with a son, Nelson Moseley, in Odessa.

She is survived by her son; one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Merchant of Dallas; three granddaughters, Misses Leigh, Laura and Margaret Merchant of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Mary Fortson of Bethany, La.; one brother, Richard Hightower, Elysian Fields; and the following half-sisters and half-brothers: Willie Hightower of Elysian Fields; Mrs. Spence Tenney of Houston; Mrs. Hattie Rogers, Robert Hightower, Mrs. Lee Hawley and Marion Hightower all of Marshall.

Mrs. Moseley was active in the First Methodist Church here having served as president of the Woman's Missionary Society and as district secretary for the organization.
