TIPTON, Rev., Jessie C. passed away Tuesday, October 23 in Tipp City, Ohio. He was born on October 18, 1932, in Estill County, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Anna Lee Tipton, infant son James, mother Ethel Tipton, father Burton Bailey, step-father Martin Tipton, brothers Kelly Tipton and Dillard Tipton. Survived by his sons Dwight (Karen), Mark (Deborah), Eric (Johnette), daughter Tameita Kihn (Michael), 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brothers Defort, George and Columbus, sisters Betty, Nancy, Edna, Delilah and Brenda, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members, and innumerable friends. Jessie retired from the City of Dayton in 1982 with 30 years of service. He was a minster for over 50 years, and was a pastor for over 40 years, most recently at Christian Chapel in Tipp City. He proudly served his country in the Korean War.

Visitation at the Christian Chapel Fellowship Hall (95 Ginghamsburg Rd., Tipp City, Ohio). Funeral services at Christian Chapel Church (95 Ginghamsburg Rd., Tipp City, Ohio).
