Married first Priscilla Lewis & they had one son, Richard Lewis Foster;
Married second Mary "Molly" Penn on 19 Apr 1778 in Ann Arundel Co., Maryland.
Father of seven known children: Elizabeth Foster Horton, Sarah Foster Cheney, Mary Foster Zink (my ancestor), Benjamin Penn Foster, Basil Foster, Jr., John Foster, and Thomas Foster.
He lived at Broadtop, Six Mile Run, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania. His cabin was on land where part of the Duval Cemetery now exists.
