Timothy D. Pfening, 58, of Upper Arlington, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012. He was born March 14, 1954 in Columbus.

He was a 1972 graduate of Upper Arlington H.S. After which, he began his career in the family business, the Fred D. Pfening Company. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Tim was a truly unique individual who had a gentle soul and a mischievous sense of humor. He had an extensive knowledge and interest in music and history, and loved animals and cars. Tim was a supporter of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, the Henry Ford Museum, and the Columbus Zoo. Tim will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and work associates.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederic Jr. and Leila "Lee" Pfening.

his childhood friend and loving wife of 38 years, Suzi;
daughter, Victoria Pfening-Smith;
"Kid 2", Kristin Leigh Garton, D.O.;
granddaughter, Maddie Smith;
brother, Fredrick III (Janet) Pfening;
