The remains of Mrs. Christian L. Bartels, who was killed when a train hit her sleigh on Hall Avenue on Saturday morning, were taken to her home in the Town of Grover on Sunday morning.
District Attorney Miller and Coroner James Tweedie, after inspecting the scene of the accident and examining the number of witnesses, decided that there was no necessity for holding an inquest.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the home in Grover and from the German Lutheran Church at 11:30 with the Rev. Kleinlein officiating the final rites.
