Mr. Knight died suddenly just after 12 noon yesterday from a cerebral hemorrhage while working on a house on Vermont Avenue. He was 52 years old. Mr. Knight was the foreman of a grove on Route 2 and had lived here for the past 25 years, coming from Wayne County, Georgia. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Bethel Baptist church. The Rev. C. N. Walker, pastor will officiate. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Magdalene Knight; one son, Calvin M. Knight, Jr. of Route 2; three brothers; Dalton Henry Knight, of Lakeland; Robert Lee Knight, of Everett City, Georgia; and Jessie James Knight, of Mount Pleasant, Georgia; and one sister, Mrs. Martha Dora (Knight) Easton, of Gibsonton, Florida.
