Bobby Joe Wells, 56, of Crossville, passed away March 9, 2004. Funeral services were conducted March 13 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Smith's Chapel Cemetery. Vern Daugherty officiated.
Mr. Wells was born June 16, 1947 in Crossville, the son of Willie and Carrie Dodson Wells.
He was an employee of Delbar Products for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Lewis Wells; children, Rickey Young, Rita and Ron Braswell, Sandra Scarbrough, Theresa Young, Michael Young, Ruby and Jeff Wiebusch, Ruth and Darrell Lewis and David Young; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, Michelle Pugh; and brother, Bill Wells.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Thomas Wells and Walter Wells; and sister, Zula Faye McCormick.
Pallbearers were Michael Wells, Richard Dishman, Nicholas Braswell, Don Scarbrough Jr., Chris Pugh and J.J. Boniol.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
