ERWIN- Wallace C. Hensley, 57, died Sunday morning at Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. He was employed in the mechanical department of Clinchfield Railroad until he retired in 1951.
A native of Greene County, Hensley had lived here for many years. He was a member of the Canah Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Mary Hensley; two daughters and two sons; four sisters, Mrs. John Thomas, Mrs. Albert Luttrell, Mrs. Georgia Honeycutt and Mrs. Bill Hampton, all of Erwin; two brothers, Dana Hensley of Jonesboro and Eddie Hensley of Johnson City. *Source- Johnson City Press, June 14, 1960, Page 2
