Eugene was an emigrant from Italy. He and his wife Mary Stanzione had nine children before Eugene passed away prematurely between the ages 42 and 52. Their daughter Christine remembers the day of his funeral with a Horse Drawn Carriage, draped in black, in a sorrowful procession on it's way to the cemetery. The family lived at 6106 Wheeler St in SW Philadelphia.
